The Asset & Land Group was founded in 2008 by Barry Kilroe.
Following the management buyout of The KDC Demolition Group, of which he was the sole founder, managing director and majority share holder, Barry’s passion for the industry grew even stronger, maintaining the global vision and desire to create and develop an organisation that would provide complete disposal solutions.
For the last 20 years Barry and his teams have overseen a large number of high profile and complex decommissioning and demolition contracts, both in the UK and overseas, during this time he has developed and nurtured many industry specialists, some of whom continue to work alongside him today. He is also a past chairman of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) and has established key working relationships with major clients in the nuclear, petro chemical and construction industries across the globe for many years.
As part of the groups ongoing policy for development and improvement, Asset & Land Recovery has been formed as part of an internal re-structure and focus to help deliver a step change approach to the wider demolition / regeneration industry, this is supported by the groups own highly efficient waste to fuel processing plant, its modern specialist hi-tech equipment and the recent appointment of leading industry professionals, all of whom carry a proven track record of delivering safe and sustainable high profile and complex, multi million pound projects.
Now operating as a highly competent and multifaceted service provider in recovery, recycling and regeneration, the Asset & Land Group is at the forefront of complete disposal solutions.
The organisation forms international partnerships with its clients, assisting in their duties to protect assets, environments and reputation.
Asset & Land Recovery assures peace of mind, providing bespoke support teams, delivering safe and sustainable decommissioning and demolition services globally, whilst achieving maximum asset realisation.
This means that our clients know their worldwide interests are protected and valued at all times.
Asset & Land has seen solid, sustainable and healthy growth over the last 4 years, growing its customer data base, whilst defying recent economic trends, this has without doubt been achieved by the commitment and passion of its people (at all levels), and shared vision by its clients.
Evidence of the group’s dedication to environmental issues has been demonstrated by the regeneration of a 4 acre ex landfill site in Stockport that now forms its waste recycling operations in the North
Using a highly efficient processing plant, construction waste is turned in to SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel). This alternative and sustainable fuel is a product which some international energy companies are already using to further help reduce the impact on the planet by maximising energy efficiency.
